Welcome to StreamTipz.in ("we," "our," or "us"). We're committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our UPI tipping platform for streamers.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We comply with India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

For Streamers:

• Account Information: Name, email, phone number, UPI ID, bank details for payouts
• Streaming Data: Platform usernames (Twitch/YouTube), StreamElements connection
• Financial Data: Transaction history, withdrawal records (processed through PayU)

For Tippers (Viewers):

• Payment Data: UPI transaction details (amount, timestamp, transaction ID)
• Optional: Display name and message for stream alerts (anonymous by default)

We never store sensitive payment information like UPI PINs or full bank account numbers.

• To process tips and facilitate payouts
• Generate real-time alerts on streams
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
• Comply with legal obligations (taxation, fraud prevention)
• Improve our services (analytics are anonymized)

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for unrelated advertising.

Your information may be shared only with:

• Payment Processors: PayU for transactions (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Streaming Platforms: Only the alert data you configure via StreamElements
• Legal Authorities: When required by Indian law

By default, we never disclose tipper identities to streamers unless explicitly provided in the tip message.

We implement robust measures to protect your data:

• End-to-end encryption for all transactions
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Limited access to sensitive data (only founder has full access)
• Secure servers located in India (AWS Mumbai region)

Under Indian DPDPA 2023, you have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for processing

To exercise these rights, email support@streamtipz.in with "Data Request" in the subject.

We retain data only as long as necessary:

• Transaction Records: 5 years (for tax compliance)
• Account Data: Until deletion request
• Inactive Accounts: Deleted after 2 years of inactivity

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be:

• Announced via email to registered users
• Posted prominently on our website for 30 days
• Reflected in the "Last Updated" date above
